I'm always getting asked: "what's the best way to reduce weight" "how could I tone in place and build muscle" etc. So I believed I would provide you with a brief introduction on what I think...
The media in particular portray a false sense of accuracy regarding exercise advice. They're always writing diet advice which in the long haul is going to cause you much more damage than good - and will not help you slim down and certainly will not allow you to fit. For instance, I was reading an article which stated if you consume a particular piece of fruit each day for 1 month you will lose one stone. What rubbish!
I am going to tell you what is great and what is not.
Why people publish these awful tips as well as advice is beyond me... like drop two dress sizes in one month. For those of us who work 9 to 5 this's simply about impossible. What you are able to do in a month is, get yourself a good fitness level and also the foundations for losing unwanted weight. Start eating healthily and eat the correct things to get a well-balanced diet. We all know what foods are good for us and what are not. Don't do these "diets" you see on the web and in magazines, trust me they're bad. Eat healthily - have a good amount of protein in your diet regime, include lots of fruit and vegetables and carbohydrates but be sure you don't overload on carbs. Your diet starts in the supermarket - if you get junk, Tea Burn Equivalent you will eat junk! When you do not order it, then you definitely will not eat it. Ensure you're getting the essentials for each meal, ensure you're not going to over load your plate with carbohydrates and getting a mixed and colourful plate. Yet another key point to consider is your portion size - reduce the amount of food, do not overfill the plate of yours. It is all in the mindset - you don't need it - possess a sensible amount.
Try never to snack food! Cut out fizzy drinks and bring down your alcohol intake. If you feel hungry and also have the desire to eat, why not have some fruit or some nuts. You don't need fizzy drinks or chocolate, change these drinks with water, make sure you're taking in a great amount of fluids, this's important in the start of yours that will get healthy and fit.
