Weight Diet and Loss Pills And Supplements - Gimmicks Or not?
"Take the azure pill...take the red pill...?"... remember the series?
"Take the azure pill...take the white pill...?"... recall the line?
These're the first words uttered... the movie series is taken from The Matrix (1999). The context of the statement is that "Neo" (Keanu Reeves) is living in a world of controlled belief. Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne), the captain of the "movement" in the film, is leading younger Neo via a crazy ride of "reality" vs. belief. Similar to the film it is my job, as a personal trainer, to direct individuals with a trip in belief.
Even in "real-life" it looks like we, as depicted in this film, only believe that taking a tablet can provide us all the solutions to our needs. My question for you is..."Do you think all the problems of yours can be solved by shooting a pill?" Do you truly believe that answers are available from pills or perhaps do you assume that answers are derived from individual responsibility? I guess the actual question is..."Do you have confidence in "cure" or prevention?
Aside from the quirky video comparison... What's your perspective as related to well being, body, and better living? Does better living originated from much better pharmacology? Sure...I guess millions of lives are saved from illness, genetic failures, along with illness. Do we accept responsibility for the behavior of ours which contributes directly to health that is bad and fitness? Are most risk factors for illness lifestyle induced? Even when the latest fat reduction pill did work - Can it be going to work life long? What are the risks associated with a lot of the newest weightloss pills? Almost any pill we take has a "side effect" attached to its use in individuals which are many. It seems people are ready to pay basically anything to get their hands on the hottest diet pill, or weight loss gimmick out there. Even worse - prescription medicines are passed out like candy to a large number of a huge number of obese folks. As all of us know many of these medications have proven to be quite risky, even deadly.
I assume most of the concerns as well as frustrations I receive from folks related to preventative activity, exercise, or fitness, can certainly be traced directlyto one really important as well as fundamental question: Are we a remedy driven culture or maybe a prevention driven society? Will it make sense that the newest carbo-blocker, fat Outback Belly Burner Customer Service Number (52.211.242.134) or weight loss pill will reverse years of poor living? Do you truly think that your special responsibility is often absolved by a pill?
Lets' utilize the general style of "dieting" for example: one program works like this, you are taking many pills in the early morning - enjoy a nutritional shake in the late afternoon, chug down another handful of pills by late afternoon, and consume a boxed, pre-portioned, specialized dinner at night. OK. - What happens when you go off this weight loss program? I estimate all of the spectacular results simply vanish entirely! Of course, they show you to take this particular item, then that product...then hold your breath for ten seconds while getting up and down...ok...ok, I'm getting carried away - I know. The point is; in case you've to take the specific pills and do the particular diet you simply will not do it for long - that is why it's called a weight loss program. The name itself assures the person that it is a thing that you start as well as stop! Not any, friends - better lifestyle is not one thing you begin & stop, it is something you gain from if you accept responsibility for the care of your body and well being.
So what's the solution? Well, the answer of mine is to ask yourself some vitally important questions.
One; Will you assume that individual responsibility supersedes a cure-all (diet pill)?
