Dental Health and diet
All of us know eating a lot of sugary treats, candy & soda causes tooth decay. That is a no brainer. But this deeper dive into the specifics of diet and the way it impacts dental health and cavities will be as exciting for you as it had been to me.
Many people feel that once you've tooth decay, that cavity cannot be counteracted and the sole option is to have a part of your teeth drilled out and packed with an artificial material. However, it's been proven there are ways to reverse cavities naturally. Scientific studies have shown that cavities and also tooth decay could most likely be counteracted with diet.
Sixty-two kids with cavities were split into three distinct diet groups. Group one ate a regular diet plus oatmeal, which is high in phytic acid. Group two consumed a normal diet plan and supplemented with vitamin D3. Group three ate a grain free diet plan and supplemented with vitamin D3.
The results revealed that Group one who dined on the diet high in grains and phytic acid had an increase in cavities. Group 2 showed improvements in the number of cavities. Group three, who followed a grain free diet with nutrient-rich foods like leafy greens, prodentim scam (find out here) fruits, meat, milk and took vitamin D3, saw the greatest improvements. Virtually all cavities in this particular group were healed.
As per the insights of Dr. Weston Price and lots of others, there are 4 main things that promote tooth decay:
Absence of nutrients in the diet (calcium deficiency, phosphorus and magnesium deficiency deficiency)
Lack of extra fat soluble vitamins (A, D, K & e, especially vitamin D3 deficiency)
Consuming an excessive amount of phytic acid rich food
