They constantly say the toughest part of working out is making it to the fitness center. However, if you would like to go to the gym before work, you've to wake up early, get dressed to work out, drive to the gym, check in, find an available machine, get your workout in and drive home to carry your shower before going to work. Obviously getting to the gym is the hardest part. With a lot to dread, not surprising that motivation is out the window.

I, like many, used to be fans of the gym. In the early twenties of mine, I found myself at the gym for several hours a day. My guilty pleasure? Kickboxing! Okay, enough about the crazy kickboxing addiction of mine. Needless to tell you, life changes as you grow older. Getting Married and having a kid led to the inability of mine to invest all those hours in the gym. With my metabolism, I required the high intensity exercises to shed the pounds.  
6 years and seventy five additional pounds in the future is when I watched an Infomercial on the Turbo Jam program. At this stage, I'd gained a lot of weight that I was embarrassed to set foot in the gym as I did not wish to really feel as "the excess fat girl" that everyone observed and judged. What I liked about Turbo Jam is that it encompassed everything that I love about Kickboxing minus the heavy bags. You are still bobbing and weaving and throwing punches and kicks. Chalene Johnson, the creator, is very attentive to proper form so you remain true to sports. I will admit I miss the large bags but the joints of mine don't. I got tendinitis along with lots of other injuries in the kickboxing gyms. I remain injury free with this particular course and I get results. In one months time, I lost Twenty pounds. As they are saying, outcomes are not normal UNLESS you go all in. No exercise session will work if you don't work!  
You will find several kinds of home workouts and one thing that's right for you. I was lucky enough to figure out what worked ideal for me with ease. The one thing that's preventing you from following the physical fitness goals that you'd like is yourself. Discover what interests you. There are masses of home fitness workout routines to incorporate yoga, pilates, weight training, hip hop dancing; there's something for everyone. Cut out the middle man and workout from home. aided by the 40 minutes it to you took drive back and forth from the fitness center and all that other occasion that had been sucked into "getting ready" to exercise, imagine what else you might have accomplished that day?  

A buddy sent me a lovely quote the other day which embodied such a lot of what I have felt over the past few years. "Both rips and sweat are salty, but they make a different result. Tears will get you sympathy; sweat can get you change". I spent many time feeling powerless and sorry for myself because I was very saddened by my extra weight. I at last took charge, found the inner strength of mine and motivation, and here I am 50 pounds thinner and still going. Thank goodness for home workouts! It'd never ever be possible otherwise.  
Remember, there's ALWAYS time to exercise. Even if you begin small, it is never very late getting results and feel very good about yourself. You can get it done to. Commit to be Fit!
