Cacti generally will tolerate more sun than any other type of succulent, and they are more happy. Little Missy is capable of tolerating more shade than other varieties of Sedum but will do best in partial sun. Even in ideal conditions, it cannot reach half of its maximum height. If you cover your seedlings, it would be best to remove the cover once you notice the germinating seeds. When the time is right, sprinkle the seeds over the soil. You can improve the drainage by adding perlite and coarse soil.
