This succulent will thrive in full sun to partial shade. Keeping this plant indoors is the best way to ensure it thrives unless you live in USA hardiness zones 9b to 11b. You must ensure your plant does not get below 25 degrees Fahrenheit, or minus 3 degrees Celsius. You might also see translucent or black leaves, which is your succulent's way of telling you it is overwatered. If you've consistently overwatered your plants or accidently left them outside in a heavy rain, you might consider attempting to dry them out in order to prevent any damage from excess moisture.

It's a beautiful, unique succulent you can add to existing house plants. I have a Calico Kitten living in this pot. I needed another one to plant in a basket.
