There are many things that you can do to water a succulent that is too dry depending on its situation. You may notice leaves turning yellow and feeling crispy at the edges. To ensure your plant grows taller and spreads out, add additional succulent soil. The top inch of the soil needs to feel dry to the touch before you water. These stem cuttings have been successfully propagated by placing the cuttings on the soil sideways. This gives me a thicker top that eventually leads to a trailing plant. You can solve this problem by making sure your plant has plenty of light.
